I am a new subscriber to Norton Online Backup. The backup process worked fine. Then, I decided to download a backed up file. I chose File Actions; Download A File. I chose the file and got a message "Retrieving File, Please Wait". After about 5 minutes, I got the message "Failed to Restore". I repeated the process with the same results. Am I doing something wrong?

The process you have followed is right. This problem could have risen out of a temporary server issue. Can you please retry? If the issue is reproducible then please provide us the details of the browser that you are using.

It looks like you're using Norton 360 and were restoring a single file via the Norton Online Backup web interface. Does an error also surface when you restore via the Norton 360 client local to your computer or just the web? I'm doubtful it was a server issue. It's hard to make that determination without more details. A restore via the client may give us more useful details.
