Hi Norton Team,
We are contacting you on behalf of the Fraud & Compliance Team at TrafficStars.
TrafficStars is an advertising platform that connects advertisers with publishers and provides advertising and traffic monetization solutions across a large network of websites. We have recently received several reports from our publishers regarding Norton security alerts affecting domains used within their traffic and advertising delivery flows.
The domains referenced below, as well as in the attached screenshots, are being flagged by Norton as potentially malicious. These domains belong to our verified partners and, following an internal review by our Fraud & Compliance team, we have not identified any malware, phishing activity, malicious scripts, or other security threats associated with them.
Domains requiring review
1. media-hls.satencedge.com
This domain is used exclusively for delivering licensed HLS video streams (.m3u8) through a media CDN.
Example URL:
https://media-hls.satencedge.com/.../153235032_480p.m3u8
The referenced URL contains standard HLS video playlist data and does not contain executable scripts, malware, phishing content, or other harmful components.
Norton currently detects this resource as:
Detection: URL:Blacklist
Based on our investigation, we believe this detection is a false positive.
2. go.byzixibyvusagi.com
This is a legitimate tracking/redirect domain used by one of our verified partners and leads to legitimate adult advertising offers.
Our Fraud & Compliance team reviewed the reported traffic associated with this domain and did not identify malicious code, malware distribution, phishing activity, or other harmful behavior.
The domain is currently being detected by Norton as malicious, and we believe this classification is also a false positive.
The attached screenshots show the Norton alerts reported to us by our publishers.
We kindly ask the Norton Safe Web / Threat Intelligence team to re-evaluate these domains and, if your investigation confirms that no malicious activity is present, remove the corresponding detections and blocklist entries.
If you require any additional technical information, URLs, screenshots, redirect paths, or other evidence from our side, we will be happy to provide it.
Thank you for your assistance and for reviewing these detections.
Kind regards,
Ad Compliance Team
