False Positive Norton Safeweb

Hello Norton Community Team,

Our legitimate business website and its content delivery network are currently being blocked by Norton (and other Gen Digital products) with a false “URL:Phishing” warning. We are requesting an urgent escalation, as standard reporting channels have not worked.

Affected URLs:

  • waidwissen(dot)com

  • cdn(dot)waidwissen(dot)com

Background:

This has been an ongoing issue for 1 to 2 months. We, along with several of our affected users, have submitted the false-positive form over 10 times through the official Norton/Gen Digital portals. Unfortunately, we have received no responses, and the domains remain blocked.

About our site:

Waidwissen is a legitimate, well-known educational platform and app for hunting license preparation. The site is purely informational and educational. We do not collect banking credentials, credit card details, or sensitive financial login information that would warrant a phishing flag.

Security Status:

We have thoroughly audited our infrastructure, and third-party scans confirm the domains are clean:

  • VirusTotal: 0 vendors flagging the URL as malicious

  • Sucuri SiteCheck: No malware or blacklist issues

  • Google Safe Browsing: Clean

  • PhishTank: Clean

Since our standard false-positive submissions over the last two months have gone unanswered, this block is severely impacting our business and annoying our user base.

Could a moderator please escalate this directly to the Norton Safe Web / Threat Labs team for a manual review and whitelisting?

Note: after submitting dispute and waiting 48 business hours with no change.
Contact official Norton Support and advise support that you’ve submitted dispute and waited 48 business hours. My understanding is…once you state that you have already submitted False Positive over the submission portal and waited 48 business hours…support agent shall take the URL and detection screenshot and advance the case.

Norton Submission Portal is used for submitting false positive reports.
Verified site owners generally have access to a dashboard where they can see the status of their site and any pending disputes.
If the status of your site has not changed – on the Safe Web public lookup – after 48 business hours – contact official Norton Support directly. Explicitly tell the agent: “I have already submitted a site dispute via the Safe Web portal more than 48 hours ago and have not received a status update.” This often prompts support to escalate the ticket manually.
