False Positives in V22.5

Is anyone else getting a lot of false positives?  Since Friday September 11, 2015 I have started to get false positives on downloaded SW as well as SW I am developing.  I spent all Friday trying to figure out why a very minor change in my code would cause Norton to quarantine it and delete the compiled EXE.  I kept getting a SAPE.Heur.90C60 no matter what I did including backing out all the changes I made.  I spent hours online with Norton Support and on the phone with them to try and figure out what was going on.  Today I tried to update a commercially available piece of network mapping SW from Visualware and Norton quarantined that with a WS.Reputation.1

The restore and the options on the Security History window don't work as it does not restore the files and I can't seem to exclude them.  I eventually had to set up folders in a development area on my computers and exclude those folders from the scans but I had to do this on all my computers (not just the development computers) because I keep my development code on OneDrive.  Also I can't bring my code out of those folders to test run it in a live system because Norton quarantines it as soon as I pull the EXE out of the development area.  Which basically means I can't publish it either.  Yes I have submitted this to Norton in their 'Report False Positive' page but it is getting a bit ridiculous doing this every day.

The Tech's suggestion was to turn off the Auto-Protect!!!  So why would I have Norton if I turn off the Auto-Protect?

What the 7734 is going on at Norton?  It used to be the premier protection software.  I have used it for many years.  Now with this Version 22.5 it is quickly becoming the most bloated, frustrating and useless bit of software on my computers, network and mobiles.  They got rid of Network Security Map.  This new interface sucks and now I am getting all these false positives.

Even this posting produced an error - "An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact the site administrator." ?????  I think it has something to do with the labels. I was trying to select False-Positive in the labels area.  So I had to cancel the post and start again.

Hey is anyone from Norton listening?
