Faulting application ccSvcHst.exe, version 10.0.1.8

HI,

 

I am running windows XP 32 bit Sp3. I have just finished doing a clean install of windows XP and all other software including Norton internet security 2011.

 

Ever since the new install when I login I get a pop up message with the following:

 

I have tried going to MS web site looking for answer but nothing there has fixed the issue.

 

I also have uninstalled and reinstalled and that has not helped.

 

Any Suggestions would be apprecaited.

 

Event log errors:

The Norton Online service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 120000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

 

Application popup: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library : Runtime Error!

Hi gohowardtx,

 

I understand you receive the message after log onto your Norton Online Family account, does the program still monitor and record the online activities, or  you are not able to see them at all after you get the message?
