Feature Request: Guided Resolution for Critical Password Issues

Dear Norton Product Team,

I would like to submit a feature request for the Norton Password Manager Safety Dashboard.

The Safety Dashboard is excellent at identifying security issues. For example, it currently reports that I have 48 critical accounts with weak passwords. However, identifying the problem is only half the solution. Actually finding those 48 accounts among hundreds of saved logins is difficult and time-consuming. It often feels like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

I believe the Safety Dashboard could be significantly improved by making it action-oriented rather than simply informational.

For example, I would suggest adding a “Fix Critical Accounts” button that would:

  • Display only the accounts classified as critical.

  • Guide the user through each account one at a time.

  • Launch directly into the password update process for the selected account.

  • Automatically move to the next critical account after the password has been successfully updated.

  • Reduce the critical account count in real time as each issue is resolved until the list is complete.

This would transform what is currently a manual search into a simple guided workflow. Many users, including myself, simply don’t have the time to search through large numbers of saved credentials looking for the accounts that need attention. A guided remediation process would save time, improve the user experience, and, most importantly, encourage more users to replace weak passwords, resulting in better overall security.

I believe this enhancement would make the Safety Dashboard much more valuable by helping users fix problems instead of just reporting them.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this suggestion. I hope your team will consider implementing a guided workflow like this in a future release, as I believe it would be a valuable improvement for all Norton Password Manager users.

Kind regards,
Susan
