The above is almost always relevant, but here is a current issue and fix:
Currently many users (including myself) have Adobe Flash 15 installed, and need to update it to 16.
You need to go to chrome://plugins/ click the + next to details at the top on the right hand side of the page. Then scroll down to: "Adobe Flash Player (2 files) - Version"
For Location: you will likely see either:
64bit
Location:C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\
and
Location:C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
32bit
Location:C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\
and
Location:C:\Windows\Macromed\Flash
For the C:\Windows version if it shows version 15:
Description:Shockwave Flash 15.0 r0
Click disable for that version until you can update Shockwave Flash to version 16 or higher.
