I use Ghost 15.0 and have recently upgraded from XP to Win 7. I have a separate external backup with the backups from my previous computer. I need some of the files from the old backup and connected the drive to my current computer. The computer recognizes the drive and so does Ghost when I open it . I get a list of 12 recovery points, 3 are listed as available and 9 are not available. When I try to open one of the available recovery points I get the message, "cannot validate the recovery point destination for file...........cannot find external device. Since it lists the old recovery points, I feel that it has located the drive. How do I get to my files I want to recover?
