File rename/folder rename or creation in Windows Explorer slow after installing a Ghost 15 image

I recently used Norton Ghost 15.0 to make an image of my hard drive so I could copy it over to a larger hard drive for my laptop computer.   I use Windows Vista for Home.   After installing the image, the computer seemed to run fine, except whenever I try to either rename a file in Windows Explorer, or try to create or rename a folder, it takes 2-3 minutes to complete the task.  During this time, the computer seems to "hang" with the 'processing' circle running.   The change eventually happens but it's not very practical for routine use.

I tried running Chkdsk on the hard drive and it didn't help.   Anyone know why this may be happening or how to fix the problem?  Otherwise, the transfer worked great!
