Firefox 60.0 release overview

Firefox 60.0 release overview  Mozilla plans to release Firefox 60 Stable and Firefox 60 ESR later today. The new version of the web browser moves the Firefox ESR channel from version 52.x to 60.x. That's a major move considering that Firefox 52.x is a pre-Firefox 57 release that still supports legacy add-ons  For more info go here  https://www.ghacks.net/2018/05/09/firefox-60-0-release-overview/

Hi Imacri Thanks for the post.  I use both Firefox 52.8.0 and Firefox portable 60.0 using user chrome css to move the tab on the bottom with some other css mods to make v60.0 a little more easier to use. Note I am thinking of moving to v60.0 after  Mozilla  releases Firefox ESR 60.0 or use WaterFox v 56.1.0 where you can use old extensions .. ALF60

Hi ALF60:

Thanks for the heads ups.  I just ran a manual update check and received Firefox ESR v52.8.0 on my Vista SP2 machine.  Here are the latest release notes and security fixes for FF ESR v52.8.0.

It looks like FF ESR v52.9.0 is still scheduled for release on 26-Jun-2018 (see the release calendar at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Release_Management/Calendar) before Mozilla officially ends support for the Win XP SP3 and Vista SP2 platforms.
