Norton 360 seems to be shutting off Firefox's password manager even though I set the Norton Browser option to "ask" or "no" in reference to Shutting it off. I would like to have Firefox keep track of my passwords as a back up, just in case....

I've done that, but the fact that Norton is broken in this area needs to be fixed. That is all I wanted to get done.

Since Norton originally turned off the browser password manager, have you checked the browsers settings after resetting Norton?

I've tried it set to "ask" (which it never does) and "no" And the Firefox Password option is always turned off every time I restart Firefox

I'm sure you are hitting the APPLY after making the changes in Norton - but I had to ask to verify.

 

Which verson of N 360 are you currently on?  I know you had upgraded to Version 20 in the past - are you still on it?  I ask as there was a problem with the Norton Password Manager an older version of N 360.

Yep Applied. I'm running v 20.3.1.22. I thought I had seen something about this in the past. Maybe it's rearing it's ugly head again.
