As the Firewall Learns Application, or as it Detects you using Applications, it can change.  Also, Updates from LiveUpdate can also change Firewall settings.

What "changes" are you referring to?

You can always control your Firewall Manually in the Norton AntiVirus Options, although, this is not advised un-less you are a really tech. person.

If you Full System Scans are coming up clean, then you are Secure; maybe use symantec's Online Security Check (http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/default.asp?productid=ssr&langid=ie&venid=sym) every once-in-a-while.

Hi all. I notice this too from time to ttime. It never indiactes what the changes are. I guess my concern is that what if something has gotten on my computer and taht stimulates the changes? But my scans come up clean too.

It will just be that the Firewall has Learned an Appliction and Added a Rule for that; it could also be that it has changed a Rule for something based on your activities/the activity of the Program.

How do you know that there are changes?  What does it say in your Logs?

Don’t mean to jump on someone elses thread, but MY activity log just noted like 21 changes, no more specific information than that. Now could it alos mean the changess were cahnges in what is  blocked? Or are changes just openings?

could taht be true that the changes are not “let in” changes, but possibly “keep out” changes?

It could be; it depends on what the Application needs to work and how the User uses the Application.
