Firewall off/on

Hi all,

I received a PC game for Christmas that required Uplay. I had problems setting that up so had to forward the following ports to allow it too work:

  • 80
  • 443
  • 13000
  • 14000
  • 14008

Ever since forwarding these ports Norton has said my Firewall is on but Windows 8 Action Center has been telling me that my Firewalls is off! When I re-enable them Action Center still tells me they are off?

Any ideas why this might be?

Thank you.

But neither will display as on in the Action Center?

Any ideas?

There's a known issue between NIS/NAV/N360 and Windows Action Center in Windows 8: http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-360/Windows-8-says-Norton-protection-turned-off/m-p/850744/highlight/true#M81983
