First 2 characters of my product key fell off

When I'd scratched off the opaque black security layer from the product key on my Norton 360 Deluxe card, the start of the code looked fuzzy.  I realised a little flake of the clear layer covering it had come off, and had disintegrated into dust like all the scrapings (I'd carefully confined them to a piece of paper under the card to avoid getting bits on the keyboard, and have very good close vision!).  Seeing on the website what form these codes should take confirmed that I couldn't see the first 2 characters (except for odd bits that narrow the second one down to 2 possibilities.

The card came with my (Windows 10) laptop, a year's pre-paid subscription at a reduced price that I chose to add to the purchase.

I realise that a solution (if any) probably needs the help of a Norton rep, and probably in private, and that it may take some time at the moment to be able to address it.  But I wondered if anyone else has had the same problem?  And if so, were Norton able to resolve it for them?

You are welcome. Thanks for posting back. Glad to hear that Support was able to help.

Thank you, peterweb!  The problem was resolved via Chat, where the agent responded very quickly, helpfully and knowlegeably.

I can't say the same for myself, as I've just realised why this reply has been delayed for some time - I'm new here.and was trying to post it with the Upload button, instead of the correct button that I'm now hoping to find.....

Give Norton Support a try at   www.norton.com/contactcs   If you are able to give all but the first 2 characters, they may be able to help.

If not, go back to the retailer where you got the computer and see if they can get you another key card.
