FIX NOW button on website

Note: Please do not post Personally Identifiable Information like email address, personal phone number, physical home address, product key etc.

Issue abstract: When I log onto the Norton website to look at my devices. Frequently, I now see a message saying “This PC may be at risk. Click on Fix Now to resolve this”. Can someone please tell me what the Fix Now button does, is there another way to achieve this without using the button and is there something I can do to avoid this message coming up?

Detailed description:

Product & version number:N/A Website

OS details:Windows 11 Version 24H2

What is the error message you are seeing? N/A

If you have any supporting screenshots, please add them:

I have seen the same message for my two PCs for many months now. Clicking the fix now button does nothing and as far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with my machines.

I assume it is a backend problem that is also related to the protection report not gathering data about these same two devices. Hopefully Norton will read this thread and make changes to theire software on the back end.

you can fix it by remove and add it agian but that dont work always only sometimes it happens always on my tablet i can get it to work and 2 days later the problem is there Again they got a stability bug on the site just hope they will make it work and also not just say norton 360 on the site but what version of norton 360 deluxe mobile gamers they has no info at all like in norton 360 it also only say norton but not what version you got from gamers to plus there is no info in the norton 360 and they will possible also add a update Bottom next to the smart scan and they will possible also update the norton extra so there is something in the bundle to os who dont use online backup

Ignore it - it is ANOTHER Norton ‘Buy something else’ - clue is in name ‘may’

Not surprised you say that. I have noticed a rapid growth in upselling and marekttign and it fair irritates me.

disable mute special offers under notification under settings it will remove ca 80% of it you cant remove all but it is better then nothing just remember to disable it when you got a new major

Thank you. I read that the wrong way round as they obviously intended.
