Today I have had this amber warning Fix Now message (see screenshot), if I click now I get message Live Update Fail and a screen which shows:
Check for protection - this update sits at processing never completes even after a reasonable amount of waiting.
Check for product update fails to complete.
Run Norton Autofix (top right) is not “clickable”

Did a restart and re-ran fix now still got same errors.

First thing to try is a system restart. Restart, not shutdown and startup again if you use the Windows Fast Startup feature. If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.
Your image.... shows that Protection Updates are not required which normally indicates that the automatic updates have run recently close to the time you manually ran the LiveUpdate, and all available protection updates have already been downloaded. If the Product update check failed, it could indicate that your LiveUpdate run may have run into a temporary issue between your system and the Norton update servers. Do you get this same result when you try LiveUpdate again?
