bump!!! cmon im about to format and i dont wana be left unprotected

Just download NIS 2010 from this link and after installation activate it with your product key.  NIS 2010

And save any sensitive data that you may have in the program and remember your settings.

No probs at all. Just reformat. Than reinstall the latest version and activate

Also, if you are using Identity Safe, please back it up beforehand. You will find instructions on how to do this over here:

http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/nco.nsf/0/e5a44e06f97b3f89882572260060120f?OpenDocument&seg=hm&lg=en&ct=us

In order to activate your NIS 2010 product, please keep your Norton product key handy. You can fetch your product key from your Norton account:

http://www.mynortonaccount.com/

Finally, after installing NIS 2010 from the link Turbo has indicated, do not forget to run LiveUpdate until there are no more updates to be downloaded and installed. Reboot your computer afterwards.

Should you run into problems during the activation of NIS 2010 (e.g. receive a notification that you have exceeded the number of activations), please go to Symantec Customer Support over here, and they will be able to sort this out for you. However, you should not run into any difficulties.
