Full System Scan Problem

Hi Norton.

I'm currently using NIS 2013 on Windows 8 Pro 32 bit.

Everytime I do Live Update manually, then click Full System Scan, nothing happens (no scan progress window).

I have to restart my computer to make it work. This thing always happens all the time. I think it's a bug that needs to be fixed ASAP.

Thank you.

Hi, I have a problem when I ran a Full System Scan and my Full System Scan suddenly disappeared. It says it's still running but it's been taking 3 hours and it still is scanning. I can't end the Scan so I used the Task Manager. When I tried to open my Norton 360 again it won't open. How do I fix this problem and keep it from coming back?

Hi,
Are both your 360 and your OS current? What is your OS? Have you tried to run any other scans?

Thanks

I tried to run a Quick Scan and it worked, No Threats Found. But earlier when I tried to open it a box popped and said an error has been detected. The Error Code was 8504, 104. The Norton Autofix couldn't find the problem and when I looked at the security history . No errors were found or fixed. My scan works now but I want to prevent this problem from coming back. Any solutions?

If you rebooted since your initial problem, this could have straightened things out.

If a problem only happens once, I would not worry about it. If it keeps happening, come back and we will do some more troubleshooting for you.

Ok, thanks, I come back if it comes again.
