When I perfrom a full system scan, the number of scaned items is usually around 645,000 items. However I've noticed recent scans only scan around 245,000 items.
Why is this?

Hi Norton Skips scanning files which have already been scanned,trusted files,files which have been found to be clean!
The number of files scanned can change however as their are so many software/windows
The number of files being scanned becoming less overtime is not a matter of concern its normal !
No need for wories!
