Hi, Dont know where else to turn for help hence me posting here,
In online gaming (specificly CS:S) we have a problem, specifically a
claimed to be "undetectable" hax or cheat, this cheat is undetectable
to usual hax and cheat detection methods, BUT, is it requires an .exe file and
a .dll file (both of which can be renamed) I wondered how hard it would be for
someone to write a “hotfix” style method of detection for these 2 files?
As a novice I imagined that even if you were able to rename
these files they would have signatures that a virus detecting style patch would
be able to detect, a small program that would search specifically for these 2
files (would need to be able to detect the files even if they had been renamed)
"Professional" gamers have been accused of using this program at LAN event,
for thousands of £'s in prize money and if they have been using them,
