WinFax PRO and TalkWorks PRO requires a Windows compatible operating system such as Windows 9x, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP (32 bit only) that will support Kernel Mode (Type 2) printer drivers. Microsoft Windows 8, 7 and VISTA do not support Kernel Mode printer drivers.
While Windows Server 2003 does support kernel mode printers, they are blocked by default. Windows 2003 requires a policy change to allow for Kernel mode printer driver installation. You must disallow Kernel Mode blocking in Windows 2003 before you can install the WinFax printer drivers.
Incompatible = any 64 bit operating system, Windows 8, 7, Vista and later operating systems.
Compatible = Windows XP (32 bit), Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.1, Windows 9x, Me ONLY so far :(
This has been an ongoing problem with WinFax Pro. Unable to support Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows 8, and
Server 2012
Now really you are holding my company and other companies hostage with Windows XP by not upgrading this software into Windows 8. We would love to upgrade to Windows 8, but we can't because we have valuable documents that are in WinFax Pro, which only works with Windows XP
I cannot understand why. Why is it that someone in your corporation can take the time to upgrade this software. It was a very good piece of faxing software when it was out and who knows why you guys stopped it. Maybe because of the Norton thing
Okay we are all Nortond out . It is time that you really look at this software and update these drivers for Windows eight in make all the minions of people that are stuck using XP happy including myself and my Corporation. We cannot begin to move forward with Windows 8. Because we use WinFax Pro and it's unfortunate that we rely so much on the software, so we ask of you to take the time to put your heads together and create drivers that will bring this program forward with Windows 8 and 64 bit operating systems
I personally feel that you did all that you can with the Norton software. Now it's time to turn your focus is on something else
In this is very important a very crucial to our company and other companies like mine. Please take the time to look at the software and make some adjustments for it will be compatible with a 64 bit operating system and with Windows 8 Server 2012
Winfax PRO is a true Jewel of a program Hope yous, can realize that. And it works with cell phones to
