A few days ago I installed NAV 2013, and since then I get an error 3048,3 from time to time. I downloaded Norton Power Eraser every time, being annoyed that the first time it always tells me to download a newer version.
After doing so, it tells me that there is no risk.
I even downloaded the Norton Bootable Recovery Tool and scanned my computer with that: No result.
So the only conclusion is that NAV has an error, and my computer is not infected. How do I get an error free NAV?

You said "A few days ago I installed NAV 2013". Please tell us what you did. Did you have Norton installed prior to this, or did you have another Antivirus installed. If so how did you remove the other AV? If Norton, did you uninstall the old Norton and then install the new Norton or did you do an over the top upgrade and let NAV 2013 remove your old Norton?
Thanks for the feedback. Since the Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool did not fix your situation, it's time to try the Norton Removal Tool. This tool will clean out any digital debris left from previous NAV installations and provide a clean slate for the install of NAV.
Please follow the instructions below:
If you use Identity Safe for your Logins, please back it up (export) the data so it can be Restored (Imported) after you install a fresh copy of NAV. You should have already done this per dickevans suggestion.
Plese remove the copy of NAV you have installed, using the Control Panel uninstall via (Add/Remove or Programs & Features).
Once installation is complete, open NAV and manually Run LiveUpdate as many times as necessary for it to respond "no more updates found". If a reboot is requested, reboot and then continue to Run LiveUpdate until it responds "no more updates found" and then reboot one last time.
Once totally updated, don't forget to Restore/Import your ID Safe data.
