Ghoast 14.0 VProSVC hogs CPU when backup device missing

Hi,

I'm running Ghost 14.0 on Windows XP with the backup drive connected via my Dell 610 laptop's docking station via USB. If a backup starts when the PC is undocked VProSVC hogs the CPU to the point where shutting down is the only option. I'd think that Ghost would recognize that the destination device is missing and simply stop the backup. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!
