Ghost 10 Cannot successfully reconcile changes since last session

Being using Ghost 10 for years to backup my HDD.

Due to a failing primary hard disc, I created a disc image to a new HDD in an external USB unit, removed the failing primary  disc from the computer and installed the external HDD as the new primary hard disc in my computer.

Now whenever I go to Ghost 10 to back up the new HDD I get an error:

Description:

Error EC8F1780: Cannot successfully reconcile changes since last session.

Error EC8F1771: Cannot enumerate the current drives on this system.

Error EC8F03EC: Cannot initialize the Storage Management Engine.

Error EC8F1C25: CHECK failed, WinNtComputer::AddPageFileInfo: .\WinNtComputer.cpp(1551): false.
Details: Unspecified error

I can get to the backup screen however Ghost does not list my C: drive as the drive to backup, it leaves the Drive to BackUp blank (ie does not see drive C:).

I have only 1 HDD installed with only 1 partition and I believe the partition table looks ok using partinfo.exe

I ran chkdsk and the HDD is fine without any error or bad sectors.

Symantec support said the error has something to do with my new HDD having wrong information in a record which describes the disc (??) and they cannot do anything about it.

Thanks for any fix suggestions.
