I seem to have a problem....
I got a NEW computer. Single drive. I immediately installed Ghost 12 (not using it on the old one as it was 'retired') on it and since it was a single drive, I connected a USB external drive and backed the sytem up to it.
OK, now re-partition the single drive into two using Disk Manager. Since I have a restore partition and other devices (DVD's, media readers) the new partition became K:. Now I install a 2nd physical drive and it is called L:. I open Ghost and make this my back up location.
I do a backup and it seems to be OK?
Now something odd happens. I had inserted 2 USB thumb drives and the external USB drive I first used. I intend to keep the 'virgin' system backup there and was checking to see the size. When I did this Ghost asked me if I'd like to use THAT drive as backup. I said no.
Today, Ghost appears to be messed up? It thinks the backup it did is on O:, the letter for the external drive that was assigned when I put it in?
See this screen capture :
I've tried everything I know to change it from O:, can't?
Now to make things more interesting, look at this, the two dates backups were done.
See the location again? 5/8 was the original 'virgin' system, and 5/14 was the back up of both drives.
Yet here is where those files are located :
Is there ANY WAY to correct the file location so I can 'make this work'?
Thanks in advance,
Irv S.
