My hard drive was replaced under warranty. I tried to restore from a disk image, but Ghost 14 reported that every image was “invalid” even though each had been validated as it was being made. Upon investigation, I found that the original 640 GB drive had been replaced with a 500 GB drive. Could that be the problem?
2. If I now have the 500 GB drive replaced with the 640 GB drive that I should have gotten in the first place, do you think that I will be able to restore from an image of this 500 GB drive? That would save me hours of effort if it can be done.
3. Will putting a disk image on a new drive result in WGA problems?
