I purchased Ghost 14 to do one thing. I have an Acer Aspire One with a 120 gig hard drive. I am trying to install a 500 gig drive in its place. I was lead to believe that Ghost 14 would be able to make a copy of the 120 gig drive on the 500 gig drive using a USB interface and then install the 500 gig drive in the machine and it would work.
The Acer Aspire one has two partitions on the original hard drive, one hidden and the other a normal drive partition. The hidden partition is just less thab 5 gigs and the other partition fills the rest of the space on the drive. The hidden partition is called PQSERVICE and the normal partition is C:
I can't seem to get Ghost to clone this drive. I know I have to copy each partition separately but I can't find that function in Ghost 14.
When I do a normal copy drive with Ghost the Acer will not boot.
Any suggestions on how to do this and what options to use would be great. Thanks
