Ghost 14 does not delete old backups, fills up disk

Since upgrading to Ghost 14, I have an issue with backups filling up my backup drive, and not clearing it as older backups are deleted.  I tried manually deleting the older of two backups manually in the Ghost backup destination control panel, but still the disk is full. Deleting a backup DOES NOT FREE UP THE SPACE THAT WAS USED!

I had this problem a few weeks back, and the only way I could get a new backup was to completely format the drive and start over.  Now after a few weeks it is full again.  I have it set to backup two 80GB drives, keeping two backups and deleting older ones.

I have it set to do a full backup monthly, incrementals every week.

Running Windows XP Pro.

Is there any way to get Ghost 14 to clean up after itself?  This is frustrating me to no end.   I do not want to go through the format procedure again, as this leaves me with no backup for a little while, and no previous backup for emergency use.
