Ghost 14, error 950014, Could not get driver information...

I am running Ghost 14 under XP SP3. I have backed up successfully to an external USB drive (Maxtor OneTouch III, 500GB). I have created a custom SRD and booted from it, but Recover cannot see the Maxtor drive (nor can it see a simple USB memory stick). The Maxtor (Seagate) website says that my drive does not require any drivers beyond those included with Windows. Device Manager reports under "Disk drives" that the Maxtor uses these drivers: disk.sys (MS), drvmcdb.sys (Sonic), PartMgr.sys (MS) and snapman.sys (Acronis). I don't know if Ghost includes these drivers on the OEM SRD but, if not, I don't know where to find .inf files.

Device Manager also reports under "Maxtor Personal Storage Security" that the Maxtor uses driver mxopswd.sys. This appears on the Maxtor installation CD in a subfolder named "Security". I have not enabled any security on the drive, but I decided to try to include it on my custom SRD. When adding the .inf file, however, I received the message "Error EC950014: could not get driver information from the [path]\mxopswd.inf file. Please select a valid network or storage device driver INF file".

The Maxtor installation disk includes drivers in two other subfolders named "1394" and "USB". Neither of the two drivers in "USB" are in the Windows\system32\drivers or any other folder on my C: drive (maybe they are for previous versions of Windows). There are drivers from 1394 but that cannot be relevant to my problem.

I was using Daemon Tools Lite (and getting EC950008 driver mining errors) but I have uninstalled it.

Help please!
