Ghost 14 - Is MBR replaced during a restore?

When a partition is restored, is the Master Boot Record also restored?  Or does that only happen when the entire disc is restored?

I booted to the recovery disk to check.  It seems that Restore MBR is listed under recovery point details, with a check box next to it, but there is no way I could find to enable.  It does say "see documentation" above the advanced options section, but my manual has nothing about this.

This is how I select it. Select "Recover My Computer", Next, Select a recovery point, Next, Change, Next, Next, Select Restore MBR, Next. Now you should see it selected in the details.

OK I ran I restored an image and MBR today using your technique. 

Works as you said.
