Hi all.., I searched these forums for days and cannot find an answer to my problem.
Here is my issue:
Whenever I create a backup to my external hard drive and after the backup has completed, I cannot initiate a 'Safe Removal' of this drive from the windows task bar. Windows always pops-up a warning saying: "this drive cannot be stopped at this time and to try again later" or something like that.
I have suffered this annoying problem for many months and on 3 separate external drives and still the problem exists. Having done much research through these forums I tried using the 'Unlocker' software to release the 'locked handles' on my drive, see screen shot below:
Although the unlocker software cannot 'unlock or kill' these processes, it is interesting to note that the first two are directly related to ghost. I've always suspected that Ghost is somehow locking this drive but I cannot seem to find a solution. Arghhh!!!
Would much appreciate any advice people.
