I just upgraded my Dell XPS M1530 (3gb) from Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit. I use TrueCrypt to encrypt my data partion, but not the OS partition. All was well until I installed my old copy of Ghost 12.0.
When my TrueCrypt drive is mounted and I shutdown, a BSOD is generated. I subsequently upgraded Ghost to 15.0, uninstalled 12.0 and installed 15.0. Same issue.
TrueCrypte error capture / diagnosis suggests problem is with symsnap.sys (StorageCraft Volume Snap-Shot) and recommends getting driver update.
If i disable the Ghost service and the auto start tray app, the BSOD disappears.
Anyone have a similar issue and possibly a solution?
