Ghost 15 doesn't recognize USB hard drive when restoring from boot disk

I have a new Windows 7 Pro 64-bit laptop and I installed Norton Ghost 15 on it. I backed up the computer to a Lacie 1TB external hard drive. I can see the restore points in the Symantec Recovery Point Browser, but when I pop in the Ghost disc, boot from it and try to restore my computer that way, no recovery points are found and the external hard drive does not show up when I browse for it. Any suggestions or tips?

Thank you.

Try another port. If it's USB3, the recovery disk does not support it so you need to plug it into a USB2 port.

Thank you! Yes, that was it. The laptop has two USB3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports. I should have just continued testing ports when it didn't work right away. Thanks again.
