Ghost 15 - Error "No mapping between account names and security ID's was done."

Hi everyone,

I am performing a fresh install of Norton Ghost 15.01 on my Win7 x64 system. The install always fails with error  "No mapping between account names and security ID's was done." I found the below article in the Symantec forums and gave it a try. Sure enough, when I created a user without spaces the install completed normally.


Bottom line, you may get this error if your Windows user name has a space between the characters.

 

Maybe this is a bug in Ghost?
