Ghost 15 Installation Win 7 64 bit

Habe nach dem Umstieg auf Windows 7 64bit die neuste Version Ghost 15 gekauft. Angeblich soll diese nach dem Download sich selbständig installieren. Passiert ist aber lediglich der Download einer Datei "NGH1501_AllWin_German_SrdAndProd.iso" und das war es dann. keine Installation. Was tun? Ist das Geld zum Fenster rausgeworfen?

Ach Gott nein, was für ein Wind auf eine als Scherz gedachte Bemerkung! Ich benutze Norton-Programme seit dem Tag, an dem ich in den frühen 80er meinen ersten PC auf dem Schreibtisch hatte - der Norton Commander war mein täglich Brot.

Nach Bezahlen und der Download-Aufforderung heißt es: "

The Download Manager provides for more effective, more efficient file downloads than you normally see with your browser, especially for large files or file sets, because it can pause and restart downloads even if you turn your computer off and on again. You will be presented with a security certificate and after you accept, the Download Manager will install and begin to download the requested file automatically.

Der Satz "the Download Manager will install and begin to download the requested file automatically" heißt doch wohl, dass die Installation automatisch erfolgt?

Dann solltest Du dies als Scherz gedachte Bemerkung auch kennzeichnen, es gibt da z.B. Smilies. Wenn Du das Forum mal durchliest, wirst Du vielleicht verstehen, dass wir, besser ich, auf solche "Scherze"  nicht mehr mit der nötigen Gelassenheit reagieren.

 

Aber da Du neu bist, sei Dir verziehen. :smileywink:

 

Nein, das heisst sinngemäss:

 

the Download Manager will install and begin to download the requested file automatically

 

Der Downloadmanager "installiert sich" und beginnt den Download automatisch.

 

Eine .iso kann sich nicht automatisch installieren.

 

Aber das Problem hast Du jetzt gelöst. Oder.?

Zunächst: Sorry! Wollte niemand beleidigen. Du hast Recht: Hätte das als Scherz kennzeichnen müssen!

 

Ja, ich habe das Problem gelöst, die Datei über mein Nero gebrannt und installiert - war mir nicht klar, dass der Download-File sozusagen die Ersatz-CD ist.
