Ghost 15 - problem migrating to SSD

Hi,

I have a new Samsung 830 series SSD with 128 GB capacity.  I am running a fully updated WIn7 desktop PC with 6 GB RAM and a 1 TB drive with 900 GB of available space.

After reviewing the data usage on the PC's 1 TB internal drive I determined that everything would easily fit onto a 128 GB SSD,  other than "My Documents" which I would leave on the hard drive.  So I bought a 128 GB SSD.

I havebeen following the Data Migration process from the manual included on the CD that came with the Samsung SSD.

I installed Ghost, followed the steps, and successfully copied my 100 MB System partition.  Yay!!

Now I want to copy over the OS drive - C:.  Here's where I got stuck.

The C: drive shows a capacity of 915 GB with only 88GB in use (I moved everything else, the contents of "my documents") to an external backup drive.  The "unallocated" part of the SSD has 119.1 GB available.  When I try to use Ghost to "Copy My Hard Drive" it displays an error message "Cannot update settings" with "Show Details reporting "-Info 6C8F1C25: Cannot update settings.--The selected destination is too small to hold the data. (UMI:V-0-429-26666)"

I think the problem is that Ghost "thinks" I want to move a 915 GB total size of the C: drive into the 119.1 GB available on the SSD. But, of course, all I want to do iscopy the 88 GB of actual data from the C: drive into the 119.1 GB available on the SSD.

How do I get arouind this?

Also, in Win 7's "Disk Management" utility I see that the SSD a) is online, b) shows the 100 MB System Partition having been successfully copied and healthy, and c) shows 119.14 GB "unallocated."

How do I achieve migration?

I'll appreciate any assistance.

Thank you.

Jay
