Is there a way to VERIFY that Ghost 15 (Windows 7) restore is going to restore ALL partitions onto a new blank drive in the same order that existed originally? When you boot from the CD and then "restore my computer" I want the oem partition (47MB), then Recovery partiton (10GB), then c: (rest of drive).
In a previous situation, after a restore, it wouldn't boot, and I had to run a Windows boot cd repair function to fix everything up. I'd like to avoid that in the future.
Or do I have to perform 3 separate restores (one for each partition)? I just want to be able to confirm which restore partition order Ghost is going to perform BEFORE actually doing it.
I want a function called "Restore My Computer from the backup image just like it was".

Thanks for the helpful explanation. I don't recall any Norton documentation on the proper use of the "add" and "edit" functions so I have never used them. Your approach seems good.
A future suggestion for Symantec might be a "preview" screen by Norton or SSR to show you what is going to happen before you click on the final comit. I think the average user just assumes when you want to restore the backup image to a new blank hard drive, you shouldn't have to understand or worry about this nuance.
