I have Ghost 15 on several computers. Two of them with Windows 7 runs very slow with Ghost installed. Removed Ghost and computer speed increased dramatically. Slowness is not related to the running of a backup.
Could you create a task to run before the scheduled backup?
can you give me an example of a 'task' which would be appropriate?
Create a task to run CCleaner, your Anti-Virus software update, Windows Update etc.

I'm not having any luck getting my PC to wake up though. You have to have a password on you account. I'll give it a try and let you know.
It did work. It just did not start exactly at the time set. It took about 45 seconds to start. Also, my screen stayed asleep.
I sure wish Ghost could just use the task scheduler.
