Hello,
I am a registered user of Ghost 12 and I am moving to Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I am testing the trial version of Ghost *15* and it is BSOD'ing! The machine is a Gateway FX8301. This system contains an Intel Core i7 860, 16GB RAM and Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST31500341AS (SATA 3.0Gb/s) 1.5TB drive. Again I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. The machine is fresh out of the box and Ghost is literally the 1st (and only) app I have installed. I have updated Ghost to SP1 (15.0.1.36526).
My backup Job is to simply backup C: and the "related" drive "System Reserved 100MB". The target is D: which is the other partition on the same drive. I accepted default settings for everything else. The job starts and runs to 9% and progress "stops". After a few minutes the progress window displays "9% (Not responding)" and after a few more minutes the system BSODs without any user interaction!
This is a brand new, fresh machine containing "common/standardized" components, running the latest Windows OS, running the latest version & SP of Ghost and it would seem that this certainly should not happen. Can someone please tell me how to get this fixed?
Thank you very much.
