I have had Ghost 2003 for years and it has always worked. Today I decided to back up my internal 160GB HDD (C) to my new 1TB Seagate external drive (F). However, every time I try to run a backup I get the error message “Can’t find drive with specified disk identification. You may need to load additional drivers to access this drive.” What I don’t understand is that it finds the drive and puts a 1K file called 3-31-09 Backup.gho there but it can’t find it to put the backup there. I had the external drive connect via firewire initially, but when it failed a few times I conncected it through USB but the result was the same. What is the problem? I had hoped to back up my drive before April 1, even though I don’t believe I have Conficker. Any suggestions?
