Ghost 2003 updated to Ghost 14

I’ve been using Ghost 2003 to clone from my C drive to my F drive. It worked great until the first 8-10 times, no problems and I was able to boot up either drive by switching the cable. Win XP upgraded to sp3. Now during the cloning process it freezes at 74%. I’ve tried several times. I uninstalled 2003 then reinstalled it, same problem. I read somewhere here that 2003 is not compatible with sp3 so bought Ghost 14. I have not installed it yet because of all the problems I’ve read here. My computer is an AMD 1800+, 1 gig ram, a Gigabyte K8 Triton Series–GA-K8NS MB. My 2 HD’s are identical 80 gig Seagate Barracudas. All I want to do is clone the “C” drive to my “F” drive. What problems if any can I expect? My computer works great and I like to be able to boot up again. Have the problems expressed here been fixed with a Ghost 14 update? Now I’m kinda of afraid.  Thanks in advance…
