So even the Symantec folks are at a loss on how to do this?

This forum is for Symantec consumer products. If you’d like to discuss

I work for a VAR which purchased GSS 2.0.  We sell pre-built workstations to local and national companies and would like to use GSS to create a hidden partition which would store an image of the user partition.  When the customer catches a virus or has a system crash, we would like the customer to be able to hit F2 or some other F-key which would then boot them into a menu which would allow them to restore the user partition using the image on the hidden partition.

We would like this to be a simple *yes/no* option screen with a warning and then a confirmation screen (if possible).  It MUST be very simple so the users do not need to know any commands to complete this operation.

Due to the rules of the companies we send to, we can not create restore CDs to include with the computers.

The problem I am running into is I do not understand the instructions given to do this in the very tiny manual and thin PDFs that came with this software.  Does someone have access to a "how to" guide or step by step instructions I can use?

I want to also say that I have searched the web high and low for the solution however I have not found any information which would help.  I would be very grateful for any assistance.
