Hello All, I am unable to create a custom recovery disc in windows XP pro. I have already confirmed that I do not have an upper limits issue in the registry.
My first attempt to create the disc failed due to a missing 'gearworks' file and a call to support got the file downloaded and installed. The support tech had remote control of my computer and after fixing the gearworks file problem, attempted to create the disc. The attempt failed and the error message stated that the drive did not contain writable media even though it did have a new, blank CD in the tray. The tech then told me that I had a drive problem and to contact the drive manufacturer.
I have not contacted the drive manufacturer but did successfully burn and read a CD with roxio creator 2009 ultimate as well as read other previously burned cd's including the basic system recovery disc burned from the downloaded ISO file.
Tonight, I tried once again to create the custom recovery CD and keep getting the error EC95000E that states the program is unable to unmount the WIM. Same as somebody else posted here for Ghost v14.
Any and all help appreciated.
Thank you
Peace
Mark
