@T.F_Koekkoek What client program are you using to fetch your email?

SA

I’m using Outlook that came with Office 2019.
It even get stranger, I received a message from someone I frequently have contact with that my email to him was send to his SPAM folder .

Thanks for the feedback. Lets validate something before going in another direction. BOTH of you, your friend and you, check your G-mail “online” via your browser. Look for the messages you are seeing marked as spam in Outlook being also marked spam there.

Also. Filter your Google mail settings to see whether there are AI settings that can be the detection issue. G-mail is known to be over aggressive due to the active campaigns regarding account takeovers. Touch bases with Google support as well.

SA

There are no AI settings active in Google. The “problem,” by the way, isn’t with Google, but with Windows, or at least the Windows operating system. Could an antivirus program be causing this?

Consider that, G-mail on your side and the receiver side according to your post, are flagged as spam. There is the commonality where, something is amiss with the context/content/formatting of G-mail in general. If both of you are using Norton on the same OS and an Outlook client ( not Office 365 cloud services ) that would be another common issue.

Have you added these senders to your safe sender list in Outlook to determine if that corrects the issue?

SA

Yes, I’ve added these senders to the safe sender list. That didn’t help, the still will be seen as unsafe  and placed in the SPAM box.

Have you disabled ALL e-mail filtering in Norton settings and retested? Are there any filtering rules established within Outlook settings? I would talk to Microsoft support about the issue, because, its not just an issue with you its also being see on the receiving side of your messages.

Edited: Outlook 2019 is still supported until October 2025

SA

Thanks, I’ll contact them.
