Google began "Device Fingerprinting" in February 2025

Although this article was posted a month ago today, I’m posting it here so that those who aren’t aware of it can become aware. Some company who wants to make themselves noticed and do so in a very huge way will come up with ways to block it. For the record, companies had better take notice of what the EU is saying about all this.

Ads are killing customer positivity across the entire online ecosystem. Web browsers aren’t the only devices targeted, your Smart TV and phones are also included. VPN’s are no longer safe to use for protection so what is left? What has been the response to it here in the US? Short of a dogs breath conversational threat to break up Google, nothing with any legal bite behind it. US companies and other companies doing business in the US couldn’t be any happier. Until they aren’t. In the short term Google should expect Chrome usage to fade away as well as avoidance of their search engine.
