Google Meet

Hi @bjm

I’m not sure I understand everything you wanted to share in your message, but when I do the “test” of the speakers, I don’t hear anything.
When I use Teams, I don’t have that same issue. It works perfectly normal.

I also restarted my laptop after I switched off SafeCam, but it didn’t help.

Maybe it is not related to Norton at all. I would however not know what else it can be. I didn’t install anything else in the past weeks. And before it was working properly. This is a little frustrating… :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Thank you and @SoulAsylum for all your time, I really appreciate it.

That explains it. I’m new on this forum, so it is probably normal that I still have that “new user” level. It is a little unfortunate however that there is no moderator who reviews my message and approves it. It has been already two days.

I wanted to share → when I do “Test”…I see “Playing” & I hear sound thru my headphone.

I wanted to share → I sent myself an invite link and with Admit. I hear myself and my keyboard/mouse clicks. I can switch between Chrome & Edge and see/hear myself.

Caveat: I’m not familiar with Google Meet

Okay, I did understand everything then
I also see the “playing”, but no sound is hearable.

You did however help me with your reply. When reading your reply, I realised that I did not yet test it with my headphones, so I tried it. After switching a couple of times between my speakers and my headphones, I could all of a sudden hear the sound through my headphones. Not through my speakers though. This is however already a breakthrough :flexed_biceps:

So thank you very much for the “headphones” tip . I will test it with my next meeting!
