Google Play App scanner not working at all

I have Norton with Lifelock version 5.121.0.25082873 and android version 13. The app advisor Norton has is not working for any app in the Google play store.

Hello @MattPat First check your battery optimization setting in Android. That can sometimes cause your issue. Also check for any updates available for Google Play Store on the phone, and, manually run live update on your Norton app. Restart and recheck the device. Hoping this solves the issue, please post-back your progress so we can follow-up.

Is it supposed to be unrestrictive or optimized. My store says it’s already updated to the most recent and I rebooted it twice already.

Edit: I also cleared cache at least 3 times before this.

Where is the optimization in settings for an A51?

I can confirm that the Google Play App Scanner does not work. This with Samsung A15 on Android 15, with 360 ver 5.122.0.250911806.

I’ll escalate this thread to get the appropriate team involved.

Confirmed my side as well, Galaxy Z-Flip 5 Android 15 UI 7.0 . FWIW!! A fix for another issue is in place, just got notified, wondering if that may also correct this as well?

It is indeed a Galaxy A51 with Norton with Lifelock version 5.121.0.25082873 and android version 13 and thank you.

Still not working on my end.

Still nothing. Anyone know what’s going on?

Works my side as of this posting. Galaxy Z-Flip 5 Android 15 UI 7.0

Can everyone validate their app version? It would appear that my version is at least once update behind peterweb version on the play store.

Edited: Updated to the latest version, play protect still works my side.

Sorry I keep forgetting to put a star beside my version numbers because I am on the beta channel for updates. I might see the version a week or two before release to the public.

Having said that, I am still not seeing the app advisor notifications in the Play Store app.

And I do not see anywhere in the interface and Settings a specific Play Store App Advisor setting. Maybe the Genie AI is taking care of this in the background as part of Safe Web???

Here. Still no sign of the app scanner on my end either.

I am still not seeing the app scans on the latest beta version. I have escalated this thread shortly after the issue was reported.

I have just messaged my Norton contact to see if this feature has been removed as I suggested might have happened in a post above. I’ll follow up if I hear anything.
