I'm having trouble trying to install Google Earth on my pc. The installer says it can't connect to the internet and says to whitelist GoogleUpdate.exe on my firewall. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Google is automatically whitelisted in Norton unless you blocked it. Your history will show you if anything is blocked. Look under the firewall history. Also where are you downloading Chrome from? Are you using any other security? Open up Norton. Click on settings/ firewall/ program control. See if Google is being allowed. Are you sure you are not talking about Windows UAC protection? Was there a warning in the middle of your screen and the screen dimmed?
