Good afternoon,
I purchased a renewal on 12-31-10 for Norton Anti Virus. On 1-14, the computer died and I bought a new computer.
The 60 day Norton 'truial' expired and how do I transfer the remainder of my renewal subscription to my new compuuter.
I downloaded the file but it's only for a 15 day trial.
Your help is appreciated.
Thank you,
Fred

Just click on Subscribe or Renew and enter the KEY from the purchased version.
Hello Hugh,
I renewed my subscription online and I did not see a key# so I just proceeded using Norton on my old computer.
As I no longer have the computer (got btoken and placed in the recycle bin), I do not have the information needed.
I contacted Norton directly but have not heard from them yet. Fortunately, when I go into my Norton account, it does show the purchase being made.
I thank you for your help and hope I hear from Norton as to what to do.
Like most of us, I don't have an extra $45 to resubscribe.
Thank you,
Fred

Please use the OnLine CHAT service to contact Customer Support -- then you won't have to wait for a reply and action ....
To contact customer support Click on this link and work on from there.
You can choose CHAT or Email; email or phone may have a long wait time and feedback from users tells us that CHAT is by far the best at resolving problems.
Note that that link is to the USA/CAN website so if you are located elsewhere I'm sure you will be able to find the equivalent location on your local Symantec website; some pages have a link at the top right where you can select the country you are located in.
You will NOT have to buy again if you have a valid subscription with unexpired time. Your MyNortonAccount on the web should show the KEY if you click on the entry for the unexpired version and if you bought online from Norton you should have an email, but of course if that was on your old PC .... But it won't stop you from accessing your MyNortonASccount if you remembeer the login and the password .......
