Host and remote fine using V1 = true
Host fine after installing V2 = true
Remote screen now goes blank within first hour after V2 = true
No changes made to remote, no other apps installed around time of upgrade to V2 = true
Only remote display in the connection is affected = true
Host display not effected in the connection = true
Confirm still connected = true, can see cursur moving on host screen and if an item clicked will activate item. (someone on host side confirmed)
X-file transfer = unable to verify since not able to see host screen to initiate x-fer
Ran remote access on two other remote PC's with same results
Disabled but not removed V2 on host and disabled brand X on remote and with same results
Looks like I will have to burn a license of V2 and return back to V1 and see if this has any impact. Will try this today and report results.

hi TS - great follow-up :) - i get it. i'm guessing that you have already gone back to V1 so this may be moot, but one of your responses was intriguing in terms of narrowing to the source;
"Ran remote access on two other remote PC's with same results" - if this means that from the V2 host, attempts to connect to other remote PC's, then i think we can isolate to the host if the other remote PC's do not have V2.
and by chance did you install add-on pack when you installed V2?

After upgrading from 360 to 360 2.0 my GoToMyPc has intermitt problems. After being logged in from 1-60+minutes the remote PC GoToMyPC screen goes black. I have verified the same results from different remote PC’s. I have contacted GoToMyPC and they have pointed the problem back to 360 2.0. I called Norton help desk and they were not any help, tried to send me back to GoToMyPC help desk. I have been using default settings and also have resett back to default settings just to make sure. I checked the firewall to verify the GoToMyPC application is set to allow. Did not have any problems prior to installing 360 2.0 and problem appeared right after installation of 2.0. Any suggestions?
hello TS - intermittant problems are the worst! just to confirm the problem and perspective, which appears to be from the host:
- host and remote fine using V1
- host "fine" after installing V2, but remote screen now goes blank sometime in the first hour after connecting
- no changes made to remote; no other apps installed around time of upgrade from V1 to V2
- only the display in the connection is affected; you can confirm that you are still connected and have file x-fer capabilities
i'm not sure how installing V2 would introduce this problem; have you tried going back to V1 to confirm? if that was possible, it would strengthen the correlation. if it happened to me, i'd check the usual suspects for displa-related problem; latest display adapter driver; disable power and screen saver settings (testing purposes only)...
